Due to repeated and ongoing issues with the original Unwanted Blog that has been running since 2008, *this* is now the official blog, and the old one is the backup blog. New posts will appear here first, there later (if at all, if the problems persist).
So far this blog seems to be working. However, there are some quirks I haven’t yet figured out, for starters, it persists in displaying only excerpts, rather than full posts, on the main page. It also refuses to display any images on the main page. If anyone has any suggestions there, by all means let me know. The images do display correctly on the individual posts.

Always ready for a change of locale, but this Amish wordpress theme will be something to get used to
Yeah, I know. I called tech support to talk to someone about how to show the full posts on the main blog and not just excerpts; they said a consultant would call me back within an hour. That was something like 12 hours ago. I’m losing confidence. The theme I used on the old blog, “Suffusion,” is not available on this host. Grrr.
Another thing missing from this blog is a count of replies to each post, visible on the main page.
On the old blog I’d scroll down a couple of posts to see if there were more comments than the last time I’d visited.
