Apparently it has been 20 years since “Badger Badger Badger.” Released on September 2, 2003, this was a looping Flash animation of dancing badgers. This was an early internet sensation kinda like the “Hampster Dance.” The Flash format was, compared to modern software, somewhat limited, but the end result was crystal clear. This was evident when these animations were converted into video formats for the likes of YouTube; the results were generally a bit blurry.
Ah, well.

Here’s a 15-year-old YouTube version of the original. Sadly Flash is no longer supported by modern web browsers (stopped in 2020), so the original is difficult to watch in the original format.
Yes, kids, the Long Long Ago was a whole different country. The internet was a simpler and more innocent place… and we knew the difference between “boy” and “girl.”
