Found on ebay were some negative transparencies of some (probably mid-70’s) McDonnell-Douglas artwork. The photos appear to show that the images were not well reproduced, but with some processing they turn out useful if not spectacular. The first is an image of the DC-2000 hypersonic transport, capable of 5,000 miles range at Mach 6.0. Power was via four turbojets and four ramjets.
Another piece, clearly made at about the same time, depicts the DC-2000 alongside an advanced conventional 4-jet transport, a six-engined (possibly nuclear) cargo transport and an advanced supersonic transport.
