US Justice Dept sues SpaceX over hiring practices

“Our investigation found that SpaceX failed to fairly consider or hire asylees and refugees because of their citizenship status and imposed what amounted to a ban on their hire regardless of their qualification, in violation of federal law,” Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke said.

How about No. SpaceX is building the future of national security. I say let them be as got-dayum picky as they want to be *especially* when it comes to hiring people of dubious loyalty.

The next time we get a President who is non-insane, non-senile and pro-America, they need to go through the halls of the Federal Government with  leafblower hooked up to a backpack full of pink slips.

It’s the classic setup by the Biden Administration:

DoL sues to require SpaceX to hire non-citizens.

DoS(tate) then sues SpaceX for violating ITAR requirements.

DoD then cancels SpaceX’s DoD launch contracts.

Musk is a problematic personality, but he’s done more for commerical space than any dozen other people in or out of NASA in the last 50 years. That he pissed off the Left and the Administration seems to be enough for this war on all his companies to continue. Tesla doesn’t get invited to the government EV conference. SpaceX gets buried in red tape and bureaucratic gamesmanship.

This is how the future dies.

honestly, I think this is a setup. a way to get spaceX to stop embarrassing NASA.

Musk relents, hires illegals to work at his facilities. NASA and the FAA revoke the company’s flight status because of potential national security leaks.
